A Little HistoryDoyle, Litt, Kuras and Company started serving our first clients in late 1945. The war had just ended when John H. Doyle left the FBI to start his own CPA firm. William Litt joined John in 1946 and together they grew a practice based on the old-fashioned principles on integrity, service, and honesty. The firm incorporated in 1984, at which time the impending retirements of Mr. Doyle and Mr. Litt saw the addition of managing partner, Chet Kuras, to the firm's name as he assumed the leadership of the corporation. In its long and varied history, the company has successfully met and exceeded its client expectations of service in the performance of audits of municipalities, hospitals, school districts, collectively bargained employee benefit plans, and various service and industrial organizations. Today the firm still maintains a strong auditing, review, and compilation practice in addition to providing tax consulting and preparation services. Recent successes include the implementation of various accounting software packages tailored to meet individual customer needs. We continue to strive to provide personal service to each and every one of our clients. While the firm is proud to have maintained the trust and confidence of a number of our clients for periods in excess of fifty years, we look forward to earning yours today.
